FILM SUBMISSION DEADLINE APPROACHES FOR
THE 2016 NORTH BAY ART AND FILM FESTIVAL

(San Francisco, July 21, 2016)  The August 31st deadline for the 2016 North Bay Art and Film Festival (NBAFF) is fast approaching and Festival organizers welcome all independent film makers to submit.

Film makers may submit videos of 20 minutes or less in a variety of genres including Action and Adventure Short, Animated Short, Comedy Short, Documentary Short, Drama Short, Horror/Thriller Short, Sci Fi/Fantasy Short, and Romantic Short.

Regular submissions will be accepted on www.filmfreeway.com/festival/northbayartfilmfestival. The film festival will be held at the historic Commanding Officers Quarters in Benicia, CA on October 7th, 8th & 9th.  The three day event will feature artists, short films across a variety of genres, gourmet food and wine.

(San Francisco, May 31st, 2016)  The June 6th deadline for the 2016 North Bay Art and Film Festival (NBAFF) is fast approaching and Festival organizers welcome all independent film makers to submit.

Film makers may submit videos of 20 minutes or less in a variety of genres including Action and Adventure Short, Animated Short, Comedy Short, Documentary Short, Drama Short, Horror/Thriller Short, Sci Fi/Fantasy Short, and Romantic Short.

Regular submissions will be accepted on www.filmfreeway.com/festival/northbayartfilmfestival.  Although late entries will be accepted until August 31st, 2016, artists are urged to submit now before late penalty fees begin.

JURY PANEL ANNOUNCED FOR FIRST ANNUAL
NORTH BAY ART & FILM FESTIVAL
TO BE HELD OCTOBER 7-9, 2016

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (May 31, 2016) — The Jury Panel for the First Annual North Bay Art & Film Festival (NBAFF) was announced today.

The judges will be George Maguire, Actor/Director “The Pursuit of Happyness”; TJ Walkup, Award-Winning Film Maker/Producer, MTV,HGTV, Discovery Channel; Stuart Thomas, Award Winning Playwright/Author; Vermyttya Erahn, Actress, “Murder In The First”, “San Andreas”; Patricia LaMarr, Executive Producer Northern California Filmmaker Coalition; Michael Traina, Film & Media Instructor/Filmmaker, Director, Petaluma Film Alliance; Warren Alonzo, Actor/Voiceover Artist, Warner Brothers, Fox, United Artists; and Young Miller, Rapper/Songwriter/Actor, “The Last Don”.”

The NBAFF is a three-day, jam-packed experience full of original short films, arts and crafts vendors, gourmet food, craft beers and much more. Although held in Northern California, the North Bay Arts & Film Festival is an open event and the organizers expect submissions from throughout the nation and world. To date the NBAFF has received film submissions from Japan, Russia, Iran and the United States.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (March 31, 2016) — Carter’s Biz Cafes will host the First Annual North Bay Art & Film Festival (NBAFF) showcasing independent films and artisans from Northern California on October 7-9, 2016 at Carter’s Biz Cafes in Benicia, California. Although held in Northern California, the North Bay Arts & Film Festival is an open event and the organizers expect submissions from throughout the nation and world. The NBAFF is a three-day, jam-packed experience full of original short films, arts and crafts vendors, gourmet food, craft beers and much more.

Awards & Prizes Jury prizes will be awarded for the best film submissions of 20 minutes or less. If short-listed for a Jury Prize, additional preview copies of the film must be provided by the submitting party if requested by the North Bay Art and Film Festival. Recognition prizes will be awarded to all winners and finalists. Every official selection, nominee and winners will be announced on our website and social media.

Rules & Terms Submission Deadline
Submissions will be accepted from April 1, 2016. The early deadline is May 5th, 2016, the Regular Deadline is June 6, 2016. The Final Deadline is August 31st, 2016. Early entry is encouraged but in no way guarantees acceptance.

Early Deadline (May 5, 2016): $25 per submission
Regular Deadline (June 6, 2016): $35 per submission
Final Deadline (August 31st, 2016): $45 per submission

“Last year we hosted and helped sponsor the Benicia Film Festival. We realized our venue was perfect for such an event and we are honored to host the First Annual North Bay Arts & Film Festival,” said Carter Rankin, CEO and Founder of Carter’s Biz Cafes, a membership, co-working venture located in a 156-year old historical landmark known as the Commanding Officers Quarters.

Brenda Mossa, Vendor Coordinator for the festival adds, “The combination of the works of independent filmmakers and local artisans makes this event very exciting. We expect over 50 artists and craftspeople from all over the Bay Area and Northern California.”

NBAFF Film submission opens April 1, 2016. The films must be no longer than 20 minutes in genres such as: drama, comedy, animation, documentary, action/adventure and more!
